Innovate Benue is a strategic initiative designed to turn ideas, capabilities and local resources into practical solutions, viable enterprises and inclusive economic opportunity.
From potential to practical value
The initiative brings together entrepreneurship, capability development, investment, research, infrastructure and smart systems. Its purpose is to strengthen productive sectors, improve services and help people participate in a changing economy.
We work through an integrated portfolio of programmes and projects. Each intervention must address an identifiable need, have clear responsibilities and provide a practical basis for measuring progress.
Coordinated by CIE Benue State
The Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship, Benue State coordinates programme development, partnership mobilisation and implementation follow-up. Participating organisations contribute through defined agreements and responsibilities.
One framework, connected initiatives
Innovate Benue provides the overarching framework. Smart Benue advances smart systems and digital transformation within it. The Benue State Smart Education Programme is the initial Smart Benue programme being prepared for activation.
Our purpose
Innovation that creates practical value for people, enterprises and institutions.
Vision & missionOur approach
Coordinated programmes with accountable delivery and measurable outcomes.
Strategic frameworkWhat this means for Benue
For residents, the ambition is wider access to useful skills, productive work and enterprise opportunities. For businesses, it is stronger capabilities, commercial connections and an environment that supports growth. For institutions, it is better systems, practical partnerships and services that people can use.
How we work
We identify a practical need, bring the right institutions and expertise together, develop a viable delivery plan and support implementation. Expansion follows evidence of usefulness, sustained participation and the capacity to maintain results.
Take part
Schools, entrepreneurs, professional groups, community organisations, researchers, investors and development partners can introduce their needs and contributions through our participation routes. The coordination team will identify the relevant next step.
