Participation

Contact the coordination team to discuss your interests, capabilities or institutional needs. Specific opportunities, eligibility and delivery arrangements will be published as they are confirmed.

Purpose and intended benefits

Smart Benue supports the effective adoption of digital technologies and intelligent systems to improve learning, public services, enterprise productivity and everyday access to opportunity. Its value is measured by useful services and consistent use, alongside the availability of technology.

A connected delivery model

Each intervention combines four essentials: a clearly defined service, capable users, dependable infrastructure and continuing support. Institutions establish ownership, operating responsibilities, data protection arrangements and affordable maintenance before expansion.

From readiness to sustained use

Delivery begins with a needs and readiness assessment. Selected institutions then agree an implementation plan, prepare their teams and activate priority workflows. Coaching, technical support and periodic reviews help turn onboarding into regular use.

Initial activation: smart education

BENUE-SEP provides the first coordinated programme focus. Its eight components address school administration, virtual learning, educator capability, access to devices, school laboratories, educational resources and enabling infrastructure.

How institutions can participate

Introduce your institution, its location, the service you want to improve and the resources already available. The coordination team will discuss readiness, possible delivery partners and the conditions for participation. Costs, schedules and responsibilities are confirmed before an institution joins a delivery phase.
